Our shared vision is for an embedded, collaborative research culture in Kent education whereby teachers and leaders confidently access and engage with evidence and effectively implement evidence-based practice in their own contexts to inform education improvement

The aim of the Evidence Hub is to provide a platform through which teachers and leaders can collaborate to:

  • Access, understand and evaluate the best quality research evidence available,
  • Implement evidence-based practice in their own specific contexts
  • Share learning and practice insights with colleagues across the county

The main objectives of the Kent Education Evidence Hub are to:

  • Create peer networks - through which Kent teachers and leaders can share practice and provide peer support
  • Co-ordinate training – so that teachers and leaders have access to relevant training and support to implement practice and can take art in that training together with colleagues from other Kent schools
  • Build local capacity – by training and developing Kent teachers and leaders as Evidence Champions and as facilitators of training and networks
